A precise, high-quality spacer bar made of galvanized steel is used in the production of insulating glass units.
The galvanized spacer bar has better thermal properties than commonly used aluminium spacer bars, since it ensures rigidity and strength proper to steel. This allows 7.5-fold reduction of stress on the edge of the pane and significantly increases its temperature. Accordingly, it limits the risk of temporary water vapour condensation unfavourable to the window frame.
